In 2006, Navy Federal Credit Union chose Encore Construction
to complete a $1.9 million facilities improvement at their main
campus, located in Vienna, Virginia. Founded in 1933, NFCU has
grown to 2.8 million members, making it the largest credit union
in the world.
“The $1.9 million facilities improvement project included heating
and ventilation upgrades, new offices, and complete restroom
renovations throughout the building,” said Joe McCafferty of
Encore Construction. “This has been a different type of project for
us, probably our biggest in scope to date. We’ve enjoyed working with
the Navy Federal Credit Union through every step of the process to deliver a great
finished product.”
