Encore Construction was happy to partner with Greenleafbuzzard, LLC and Core Architecture + Design, Inc. on the completion of The Point restaurant located at 2100 2nd Street SW, Washington, DC 20024. We worked together with skilled architects, hard-working construction teams, and of course the wonderful owners of The Point restaurant to bring it from an idea on paper to a classy upscale restaurant. Located very close to the waters of the Anacostia River, the intricately designed interior of The Point Restaurant reflects the look of class the surrounding area represents. With custom designed wood and metal decorations and furnishings, as well as beautiful wood flooring work, elegant lighting and architectural displays, The Point restaurant is a truly breathtaking piece of modern restaurant design. All About The Point Restaurant
This 12,500 square foot full service restaurant with 3,600 additional square feet of outdoor dining is located in one of the best areas DC has to offer– right on the scenic southernmost part of the city just south of Audi Field. The centerpiece of The Point is its exquisite and environmentally friendly woodfire grill with copper surround. It features a live aquarium full of all sorts of fish and other freshwater creatures, and let’s not forget the other highlight of the restaurant– the expansive outdoor dining area. The foyer to the outdoor area, as well as the surrounding windows, are meant to remain open when the weather is pleasant. During the colder months, the windows will remain closed, keeping guests inside warm and cozy but not detracting from the beautiful view of the local town and riverside.
